| Rymer Moore Jackson & Echols P.C. (“RMJE”) is a Houston, Texas based civil defense law firm. The firm started in 1992 with only two attorneys, and it has grown to become a well-established mid-sized firm. The result is a well-balanced legal practice designed and developed to provide quality and cost-efficient representation of our clients in all State and Federal Courts in Texas.
All of our attorneys are admitted to practice in Texas state courts, and individual members of the firm are admitted to practice in Colorado Federal District Court, Arkansas, all Districts of the United States District Courts in Texas, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Second, and Federal Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. The foundation of our firm philosophy is a client-driven approach to the practice of law. It is an approach we take to heart in every case and for every client. Time-tested experience, quality work, and a variety of resources allow RMJE to produce the results our clients expect and desire. RMJE has represented every size of client ranging from individuals to large international corporations. The firm routinely handles cases varying from multi-million dollar wrongful death claims to complex business torts. While the firm has specialized in representing clients in Texas, our practice includes clients and venues from across the country and across the globe. RMJE has a thriving practice as defense counsel for commercial insureds covered under professional liability insurance policies and general liability policies. Our defense practice includes the representation of professionals including physicians, health care providers, nursing homes, architects, engineers, attorneys, insurance retail agents, as well as wholesale, excess and surplus lines insurance brokers. RMJE represents a broad range of business and commercial enterprises in personal injury matters including the representation of medical facilities, general contractors, subcontractors, oil companies, oil field services companies, hotels, property management companies, and various manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of a variety of machinery and products. RMJE also routinely represents commercial and professional clients involved in intellectual property claims, premises liability claims, employment claims, and environmental and toxic tort claims. Over the years, RMJE attorneys have developed a high level of expertise in matters involving insurance defense and insurance coverage issues. We render advice on coverage issues, claims handling practices, insurance fraud, rescission, and bad faith liability. RMJE is commonly retained to litigate declaratory relief, breach of contract and bad faith actions around the country. |
