Mr. Wilkerson's practice is largely focused on servicing general and professional liability insurers, both by rendering coverage opinions and by representing insurers in breach of contract and extra-contractual litigation. Mr. Wilkerson has represented insurance clients in Texas state, federal and California courts, ranging from relatively simple disputes with insureds to complex, multi-carrier disputes arising from various types of underlying litigation, including: toxic tort (asbestos and silica), nursing home abuse and neglect, construction defect, municipal contract, insurance agency practices and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Wilkerson has briefed and argued appeals before state and federal appellate courts. Mr. Wilkerson has published on insurance coverage issues in the Journal of Texas Insurance Law. Clay Wilkerson became a shareholder in November of 2005.
